What is the South Carolina Association for Teaching, Learning, and Leading?

Effective July 1, 2025, the organization that has brought you very best speakers and hosted conferences for tens of thousands of educators is rebranding from SCASCD to the South Carolina Association for Teaching, Learning, and Leading – SCATLL (pronounced scattle). SCATLL is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization with a primary mission of improving the teaching and learning of all students. 

SCATLL members can expect our continued uncompromising commitment to providing a full slate of unique opportunities for South Carolina educators. These include hosting world renowned speakers like John Hattie, sponsoring awards and recognitions for schools and teachers making a positive difference and providing access to a network of other like-minded education professionals represented by classroom teachers, instructional coaches, school and district administrators, and higher education faculty.​
